NAOHP National Conference
We traveled to The Intercontinental Hotel to attend the NAOHP National Conference. We were fortunate enough to have our story told by the intelligent, Dr. David Fletcher, MD. His session was titled "A Case Study in Engineering Healthy Companies: The Rantoul Foods' Success Story." We feel so honored to be a model example for both Safeworks Illinois and Brickstreet Insurance.
Smoked Back Ribs
Our salesman and chef by trade, Paul, made some of our very own back-ribs for us in the test kitchen! With both a dry rub and smoking them, they were so juicy and fell right off the bone!
FISH Food Pantry Donations
Our Vice President of Finance stopped by FISH Food Pantry, on behalf of all of our sponsors at the Golf Outing, to drop off our donation. It's such a wonderful feeling for us to be able to give back to our community.
Annual CMMA Arthur M. Follenweider Scholarship Golf Outing
Did you know that in the next five years, 2 out of every 3 jobs will require at least a two-year degree?
We were happy to attend the Annual CMMA Arthur M. Follenweider Scholarship Golf Outing, again this year. It's always a good time, with great people, and a wonderful cause. The proceeds go to a scholarship fund for the children of Chicago Midwest Meat Association Employees.

Sausage & Pepper Ragu
Our salesman, Mark, made Sausage & Pepper Ragu for the office today. He made this delicious masterpiece with one of our loyal customer's sausages!
Our international partners stopped in to tour our plant and use our Test Kitchen. They showed us how to make a popular Japanese Pork Dish.
They began with a whole boneless loin.
They sliced them into Pork Chops
First, they were gently tossed in flour.
Next, dipped in a traditional batter.
They were then tossed in Japanese bread crumbs, called Panko.
Lastly, they were deep fried.
Look at the beautiful, crispy, golden color that they made.
American Berkshire Foundation
We donated a cooler of our pork products to the Berkshire Foundation for their fundraiser. Ken and Julene, from Martinsville, IL are the lucky purchasers! Thanks for your donation to the foundation, guys!!
Animal By-Product Conversion System
Our sister company, Rantoul Foods, is in the process of constructing an Animal By-Product Conversion System. Our company prides ourselves in ensuring that no part of the hog goes to waste. The rendering plant is set to open October 2017.
Enhanced Customer Tours
Trim-Rite, Inc. is in the process of bettering our customer tours. As we all know, factories are naturally loud places. We have noted this and are looking to make a change. We are looking for a way to ensure that potential and current customers can get the best experience possible when touring our facility.
